River Bend is a historic building & national monument which has been stylishly renovated into 4 contemporary-styled self-catering units.

These charming 4 star heritage cottages offer private indoor & outdoor space with a tasteful mix of historic character & modern-day comfort.

Situated in a peaceful residential area with an easy 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to restaurants & shops, it is the perfect place to unwind under our crystal clear Karoo sky.

ROOMS
Cottages 2,3 and 4 offer:
an en-suite air-conditioned bedroom, open-plan lounge, fully-equipped kitchen, 1 or 2 sleeper couches in the lounge, a private braai area on the patio & secure, off-street parking with direct access into the cottage.
Cottage 1 offers:
an en-suite bedroom, open plan lounge with a sleeper couch for one, kitchenette, covered front verandah & a private entrance.
Cottage 1 has on-street parking at the front door but guests are welcome to use our spare off-street parking bay 30 seconds around the corner

Each cottage has a designated parking bay with room for a Venter-size trailer which can unhitch. 2.6m heigh restriction. There is no room for boats, big/high trailers or campervans.

The Riverbend's self-catering units are very spacious and neatly decorated. I liked that externally it looked old-fashioned but the interior is modern. It has off-road parking and each unit has a patio area. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely book this accommodation the next time I visit Graaff Reinet."
